The exposition was held at the Municipal Pier now known as Navy Pier. In the second week the fair drew over 1 million visitors inspiring Chicago city father’s to put together the 1933 Worlds Fair. Another amazing fact about this fair is that the 1st movie shown on an airplaneĀ  took place here. The sign is extremely rare and measures 9 3/4 inches tall by 27 3/4 inches wide.
